The directional movement of the current from the positive electrode to the negative electrode will deposit a layer of zinc on the bridge. The cable-plated bridge is processed first and then galvanized, which is the anticorrosive effect.

Like heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, the production and painting of bridges also involve environmental protection and the occupational health and safety of construction personnel and the public, so environmental protection is also the main development direction of bridges. The bridge has excellent environmental performance, mainly reflected in the following four aspects:

1. The composition does not contain heavy metals such as Ph, cr and Hg;

2. It belongs to the thick film type material and has good thixotropic properties. After full stirring, little or no diluent can be added for coating construction. Since the solid content of galvanizing is up to 77%, the wire fixer and one-time airless spraying can obtain a higher film thickness, reducing the volatile amount of organic solvents and reducing the energy consumption for drying, which are conducive to environmental protection.

3. It has been tested that most solvents and diluents for galvanizing do not contain toluene, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons and other highly toxic organic solvents.

4. Galvanized cable tray is the best material to replace hot-dip galvanizing and arc (hot) galvanizing. It has a more obvious effect on reducing the three wastes, reducing energy consumption and improving the social benefits of environmental protection.
